To enhance the sensitivity to public welfare care by the prosecutors and related colleagues, this Office has set up a "Judicial Protection Center" as a platform for linking with

the social affairs system, the health welfare system and social resources to provide referral services for various social resources to vulnerable parties or their families or those with supportive needs.

The "Judicial Protection Center" accepts statutory notifications under the provisions of Senior Citizens Welfare Act and The Protection of Children and Youths Welfare and Rights Act to immediately protect the rights of children and the senior citizens. Caring notifications are carried out for high-risk suicide cases, people with mental illness, and those in need of social assistance. In the case of investigation or execution, when the parties or their families are found to have assistance needs, they will immediately link with the local protection resources and timely solve the dilemma faced by the case. The establishment of the "Judicial Protection Center" provides the most immediate assistance to the people who need help. It not only implements the spirit of judicial protection to help the weak and aid the needy, but also demonstrates the new prosecuting image of flexible judiciary.
