The Ciaotou District Prosecutors Office and the MJIB Kaohsiung Municipal Field Division are investigating a case involving retired military officers suspected of corruption. Three defendants have been detained and restricted on visitation.

Head Prosecutor Chen Zhu-Jun, and Prosecutor Zhong Wei-Yi, along with the MJIB Kaohsiung Municipal Field Division, are investigating a case involving military officers , including the former deputy battalion commander of a certain military unit and the head of a contractor company suspected of violating the Anti-Corruption Act.

On December 4, 2024, after executing a search, the prosecutors summoned the defendant surnamed Chen and other witnesses to provide explanations. After interrogations conducted by Prosecutors Zhong Wei-Yi, Chen Jing-Yi, Chen Li-Yin, Guo Jun-Xin, Huang Sheng-Yuan, and Shi Jia- Hong, it was determined that the three defendants, surnamed Chen, Lin, and Wang, were involved in serious crimes, and there was a risk of collusion with accomplices or witnesses, as well as tampering with evidence.

The prosecutors filed a request for detention with a ban on visitation at the Qiaotou District Court. The court ruled to detain the defendant surnamed Chen with a ban on visitation, while the defendants surnamed Lin and Wang were each granted bail of NT$50,000. The investigation is still ongoing.
