Prosecutors of this office are diligently tracing and investigating drug cases, resulting in the successful discovery of a heroin drug packaging factory

Head Prosecutor Li Ting-Hui and Prosecutor Chung Yueh-Tsung of this office have been actively tracing and investigating drug cases. On May 3, 2023, they commanded and dispatched related units of the Kaohsiung City Government Police Bureau to arrest the wanted defendant Yu○○ at a private house in Zuoying District, Kaohsiung City. Subsequently, searching conducted at the defendant operates drug distribution factory, and seize the following items: 11 bricks of Class 1 drug heroin, 11 small bags of Class 2 drug amphetamine, a mixer, drug packaging tools, a press machine, a film sealing machine, an electric drilling machine, an electronic weighing scale, and other items.

After questioning by the prosecutors, the defendant Yu○○ was   strongly suspected of having committed an offense. However, due to being previously sentenced to a confirmed term of imprisonment of 10 years and 6 months for another drug-related case, the prosecutors immediately issued an execution command and transferred the defendant to prison for execution.

This office reminds illicit drug syndicates that the sale, transportation, and manufacturing of drugs are serious crimes. We strongly advise against testing the law and risking one's own well-being for the sake of illegal profits.
